Introducing Automix Desktop (Beta): Professional AI Mixing on Mac and Windows

We have been working on something new.
Automix Desktop for macOS and Windows is now available in Beta - a desktop version of Automix that runs directly on your Mac and PC, without uploading anything to a server.
What is Automix Desktop?
Automix Desktop brings everything in Automix Pro to your Mac as a native application. The same AI that has improved more than 6.5 million tracks - the EQ, compression, panning, spatial treatment and mastering - runs entirely on your machine. Nothing leaves your computer.
Automix Desktop is available for Mac and Windows. On Mac, it runs on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later and supports Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3 and M4) and Intel. On Windows, it requires Windows 10 (64-bit) or later with an x86_64 processor (Intel or AMD), 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended), and 500 MB disk space. Linux is on the roadmap.
Why we built it
Millions of artists have used Automix to mix and master their tracks, and that is not changing. But several things came up consistently in feedback from producers.
Speed. Uploading stems, waiting for processing, downloading the result - it works, but it takes time. Automix Desktop removes the upload step and cloud queue entirely. Processing happens locally, making it 2-5x faster than the web workflow. For a producer iterating on a mix, that difference is significant.
Privacy. Some producers, particularly those working on unreleased material or in professional environments, are not comfortable uploading audio to external servers regardless of our fair data policies. Automix Desktop means your stems do not have to leave your machine at all for mixing or mastering.
Offline capability. Automix Desktop works without an internet connection for up to 24 hours after the last licence sync. On a flight, in a remote studio, on tour - wherever you are working, the full AI mixing workflow is available.

The same engine
Automix Desktop uses the identical AI mixing and mastering engine as Automix web. This is not a stripped-back version built for desktop convenience. The quality of the result is the same - it just gets there faster, locally, without an internet connection.
This is a Beta
Automix Desktop is in Early Access Beta. We are actively improving it and your feedback is shaping the product. That means you may encounter rough edges - and we want to hear about them when you do.
We have kept the Beta label because we mean it. This is not a finished product with a marketing badge. It is a genuine early release to a group of users whose feedback will directly influence what gets built next.
Who can use it
Automix Desktop is available to all Automix Pro subscribers. If you are already on Pro, you can download it here.
Not on Pro yet? Upgrade to Automix Pro in just a few minutes - Automix Desktop is included.
